Jim Horner - Treasurer
Email: treasurer@codic.us

I joined CODIC while I was getting my Masters in Management and Organization Behavior at Benedictine in order to develop my knowledge of OD. I was immediately impressed by the programs and welcomed by the members. The members' range and depth of knowledge is tremendous!

As a Human Resources professional, my work often involves training, employee surveys and other areas related to OD so I have found the Learning and Practice Symposiums at CODIC to be a great way to stay current in the field.

My background includes working in healthcare human resoources for many years (both for profit and non-profit) in many different capacities - recruiting, benefits, compensation, employee relations, training, management consulting, etc.

I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Political Science focusing on Public Administration. I received my MSMOB from Benedictine University in 2008. I have my SPHR and currently work in HR for Quest Diagnostics with great colleagues.

I have been an active member of CODIC since 2002. At the time, I was looking for a place to make a professional contribution and CODIC had some opportunities. It was a perfect match. To get involved, I served as Membership Director (2003), CODIC Chairperson (2004-08), Membership Co-Director (2008-09). Since 2009, I have served as Communications Director.

My professional background includes:
