Join Katharine Nathan and Gretchen Neve in a World Café to make meaning with other professionals whose work is focused on the employee/employer relationship. Together we will explore questions that matter about where the world of work was, is, and create a vision for the future. We'll listen together for patterns, insights and deeper questions. You will walk away with new understanding, tools, and practices to support the journey from uncertainty to the “new normal.”
The Great Recession has inspired Gretchen and Katharine to form Resilience Matters, a U.S. based consultancy, to work with individuals, teams, and organizations to cultivate resilience in times of stressful rapid change. They are committed to engaging employees, managers, and leaders in ways that create meaning, connect diverse perspectives and enhance organizational performance.
Katharine is an OD practitioner with deep experience in change management who has led global change initiatives and provided communications, coaching and leadership development. Gretchen has a background in organizational consulting and coaching. Her work focuses on competency and skill development especially in the areas of emotional intelligence, diversity, inclusion, and conflict resolution.
Their most recent publication, “Layoffs: Picking Up the Pieces” appeared in the Fall 2009 edition of the OD PRACTITIONER. Together their client list includes such Fortune 500 companies as Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Household International, Kraft, McDonald’s, Nationwide Insurance, State Farm, and Transamerica Consumer Finance. They have presented workshops across the U.S. and in Europe.
