Chris will speak on the subject of consulting skills emphasizing the action/research model. This is first in a series of two sessions focusing on consulting skills.

His delivery will be interactive and catch the essence of consulting skills within the context of an action and research model. Chris Fernandez has a Ph.D in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from George Williams College, and an M.S. in Physics from Chittagong University in Bangladesh. Currently he is president and lead consultant at mindfulODpractice Inc., a management consulting outfit. His current practice interests include creating innovative learning organizations, creating a positive employee experience in the workplace, and building resilience in organizations. In addition, Chris is an experienced (20+ years) adjunct faculty and teaches courses in Leadership, Action Research, Team Building, Conflict Management, Consulting Skills, Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Development. Prior to April, 2008, he served as a New Product Manager for next generation core IP network wireless products at Alcatel-Lucent, a telecommunication company (previously known as Lucent Technologies and AT&T). His work experiences also include an array of OD Consulting and New Business Development assignments. He is the recipient of three U. S. patents and has several other patent applications in the pipeline under review.
