John Bishop, President, Emotional Mastery walked us through the methodologies practitioners can utilize to help their employees/clients deal with stressful situations in and out of the workplace. He provided us with information as to the effects that excessive anxiety on performance, productivity, and health.
Dr. Peter Sorenson, head of the Organizational Development Ph.D. program at Benedictine University, also presented how products and methodologies similar to HeartMath® tie into Appreciative Inquiry.
John Bishop is a HeartMath® Solution Provider and a Certified HeartMath® Coach. After being discharged from the Air Force, he attended De Paul University in the evenings and on weekends. John received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Elmhurst College. After encountering over 20 years of life threatening illnesses, John discovered, learned and began practicing HeartMath's tools and using their technology to prevent, manage and reverse the effects of anxiety and stress in his life, which he knows ultimately saved his life. John recently left a 30+ year career in Customer Service Management with 3M Company to share the personal and professional life transforming benefits of HeartMath® with others. Following the educational session of the meeting, John will provide a demonstration of HeartMath's tools.
