Mary Bresnahan showed us how to build a responsibility based culture (RBC). Discussions centered on things practitioners can do to create this culture. Clear goals + clear roles + self-directed people = RBC

Mary Bresnahan is the president of the Bresnahan Group, a consulting firm specializing in working with people to increase productivity. Bresnahan focuses on training for performance improvement, employee relations, organization development and achieving a responsibility-based workplace to meet tomorrow's challenges by unleashing human potential.

Bresnahan was instrumental in the design, development and implementation of a technical training program that received international recognition. The Bresnahan Group has also worked on a number of strategically positioned HR projects. Her work has taken her into a variety of industries, including financial, telecommunications, manufacturing, fast-food and not-for-profit.

Bresnahan has spoken to business groups and authored numerous articles for several business publications. Mary is part of the adjunct faculty for Waubonsee Community College, Joliet Junior College and National-Louis University. She holds a BS in Education and an MS in Organization Development.
